Program Hangs on Initialization

I just downloaded the newest version of AWC. I installed and tried to run the program, but it hung and froze during initilization. I uninstalled and re-installed only to have the same problem. I double checked to make sure I downloaded the version that matches my operating system, and I do. I've disabled my anti-virus and firewall, and I'm out of ideas. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Loading problems? HD too fragmented? Or, Is it the amount of RAM?

Just do a Clean Disk and, a Defrag Disk. Your installed files could be scattered around onto the HD. And, if, it still does not load up, check out the status of your available RAM. How much do you have installed in your machine? 1Gb is the recommended minimum in todays machines.

2nd Question: What kind of RAM cards do you have?(4x256Mb, 2x512Mb or 1xGb) Sometimes, just upgrading the quality of the RAM cards can, eventually, improve the loading of programs and their stability of runtime. It is a chipset inner workings(and age of when they were made also) that influence their compatibility with todays programming of applications.
