ASC 5.2.0 Pro - not updating .NET framework - should it?

ASC 5.2.0 Pro

 

Existing .NET framework 3.5 SP1 (as viewed through control panel)

 

When doing Deep Care with all features enabled, should ASC be updating the .NET framework (the latest version is like 4.0 issued in Feb/2011 I believe), or is that something we need to do manually?

Hi scanreg,

 

I would suggest updating .NET Framework directly from Windows Update, as some of the updates are optional.

Even with Windows update, there have been many updating problems.

 

You may end up uninstalling and reinstalling some .NET Framework versions.

It really is complicated sometimes with some configurations.
