New version slowed computer

Early this morning IObit M.F. wanted to extract and install its new version. Once it was finished (no note to re-boot), my computer slowed down to less than a snail's crawl - on the internet AND off.

 

Even clicking on IObit's' various features took forever.

EXAMPLES:

 

Smart RAM usually takes a few seconds to pop-up; this morning: 4 minutes. Running it was another 3-4 minutes.

 

Ran Ccleaner. That, too took 2-3 minutes to load. De-frag normally takes 5-90 seconds; today it took almost 2 1/2 minutes with very FEW files that were de-fragged.

 

Internet Explorer: Internet Options took almost 5 minutes to appear. After clicking and cleaning "Internet Options" another 6 minutes had elasped.

 

What's with that? (Very frustrating.)

Did you try to reboot your computer to see whether it becomes normal as usual?

 

Please try to turn off the real-time protection to see how it works. Please also tell us after turning off which guard will stop this problem.
