can't uninstall
I installed the free addition of Advanced SystemCare 3 a month ago. I have been receiving prompts to update to the new version.
But when downloaded, the new version does not install -- it always hangs up with:
An error occurred while trying to overwrite the existing file vcl70.bpl
Deletefile failed; code 5
I have tried to delete the program and make a clean install.
But I can't: the program does not come up in the Windows (XP) Control Panel add/delete program menu. And in then program listing, Advanced SystemCare does not have an uninstall option.
So how do I proceed?

Well, thanks for the prompt response. So it's to be a brute force removal, root and branch!
I also tried deleting ASC with Revo Uninstaller, which I'd never heard of but is referred to above in this thread; and it didn't find ASC in its program list and I couldn't delete ASC using its Hunter mode or Drag & Drop mode, either.
I wonder why ASC doesn't show up in add/delete, in the screen that Sut_SoftUninstaller.exe in the IObit\Advanced SystemCare 3 directory brings up, or in Revo, and why ASC didn't install with an uninstall program.
