    Hello,

Do you still need a Spanish translation? I have some free time, so I could become a volunteer translator andget myself busy for a couple of days before I have to return to my company projects. Where should I send the translation to?

    But ok...I will keep trying.

    Hi ZacharyD,

I had the same error on Windows 10. I tried to download IObit Malware Fighter 5.5, because the previous version killed my Internet connectivity. And I got the network error. So my solution was to upgrade to the version 6.4. It works well with Windows 10 now.

I'm sure they can correct it, if you send them the file (see enoskype's post above).

Depending on the vendor, you're likely to get false positives or (Spam link removed) files simply because of their packing, which malware writers use a lot. Not all files are individually looked at before they are added to a database. Seems as though the IMF db and cloud analyze differently..

Mostly, anti-virus tools identify it as malware. I used Sophos previously and it identified it as Mal/Generic-S. Ap.exe is loaded during the Windows boot process, but as far as I know it's not a Windows system file. the technical security rating is 63% dangerous on the File net portal. Any idea where it comes from?

I had a similar problem not so long ago. I reinstalled my ProgDVB Professional 7.27.1 and everything worked fine. I also contacted the ProgDVB support to report the issue. But there was no answer.

  5. Hi Enoskype,

Thinking in that way, the first time when IMF reported the same situation, I copyied the file from another computer, WXP SP3, and "checked" it as you saw: renamed it with capital letters but one, in order to know if the essay typer tool detection is or not a false-positive.

Is there any way to warn/correct IMF to do not detect "notepad.exe" again as a Trojan Agent? I mean, as a some kind of "exception".

Thank you so much for your help.

    Regards,

I have found a similar issue on malwarebytes forum. I can send you a PM with the solution, because somehow the link cannot be saved here in the thread. Alternatively, you may install DDS and try it as well. It's available on bleepingcomputer or other relevant forums, just google and the first link will be the official one.

  6. That's funny, I just did a Google search for BRD.dll and got lots of hits saying it's malware. I'd download MalwareBytes from this site and run it. If that doesn't rid you of it, the term paper experts at the Am I Infected forum can help you.

I also use MalwareBytes. It identified BRD.dll as a malware item. In case anyone is looking for the info, BRD.dll is installed with the DAEMON Tools Pro. So be careful. The beepingcomputer forum has a similar discussion.

These two files from the Malware Fighter Program Files folder are blocking the site, UrlFilter.sys and URLFilter.dll . The site will load , if I turn off Malware Fighter. Or if I temporarily write my essay and remove the aforementioned files. As far as I know Box.net is an OK site, unless someone knows something I don't.

    Hello,

You may want to check the malwarebytes forums. I had a similar issue with my Angelfire website. Then the issue was connected with the lycos, then I had to move my website to another platform. I know it's an old thread, but I've been searching for the possible reasons (not only suspicious files sharing, as it's usually reported).

    Hi:

Iobit 360 security is one of the best at on-demand malware detection and I think you should use it as a on-demeand scanner. For pro-active and real time protection compliment to your antivirus , may I suggest get Threatfire plus which is free from pc-tool.

I too have seen iobit 360 security real time protection miss every malware download or rogue web site test I did, but its on-demand scanning is great.

If you want malware protection then get Avira antivir personal (free) and pc-tool Threatfire plus (free) and Pc-tool firewall plus (free) or prevx 3 (paid) and you are set for real time protection. Use iobit 360 security, Pc-tool antispyware plus antivirus (free), Malwarebutes antimalware (free), superantispyware hireessaywriter (free) for on-demeand scanning and as a backup. You should be good to go. Also if you want more then one antivirus to scan your pc then use Eset nod online and norton antivirus online scanners to scan your pc since these came 3rd and 4th in the latest antivirus comperative test after GDATA and Antivir.

Yeah, I guess there are more pluses. Besides, it has 3 types of scanning: Smart Scan, Full and Custom. And what's more, the privacy sweeper can delete the files of other tools and apps that can actually influence our privacy and security. I downloaded the latest version for Windows 10 and it seems worthy so far.
