Well, it seems like you came to the forum with an issue, but you don't want help with it, as you seem to

already have all the answers, but not the solution.

If the .exe file is missing then something on your pc removed it. It did not magically disappear.

But, I wish you all the best with Revo.

I received no additional information that involved processes I hadn't tried already shown clearly in my opening post. So what you mean is you are sadly unable to provide help rather than your post saying 'but you don't want help with it.  I can't find in my posts any 'solutions I already had, but if you mean not using  IoBit and using an alternative , that's not a solution to the specified software this was about. But I'll take your advice and if need be I'll post on a generalist Tech Support forum instead of this specialist one.

Did you look at Controlled Folder Access. I have seen it cause this issue many times.

Also, you don't say whether the .exe file is present or not.

Read my response to your post earlier. I searched for an exe file, which did not exist.

My security suite has full control and is showing no permissions required. Windows Security states all is in order with my settings. This is happening on three systems so now I will use Revo Uninstaller instead.

Your screenshot shows that Uninstaller has been installed but the shortcut is gone.

If you right click on the Uninstaller desktop icon and select open file location, you can check to see if the

.exe file is there. If so, then doublle click on the .exe file and see if uninstaller loads.

If not, then it is most likely that either anti-virus/anti malware program (including Windows Defender) has removed it,

or Controlled Folder Access has blocked it.

Also....you should download Iobit products from Majorgeeks as it comes without bloatware

I appreciate you can't know I was dealing with windows software since Win95. But if I can run software with or without security software enabled I also know to right click an icon and indeed find the programs files and search for an exe file  manually or the search function.
Dashlane/iVPN  (they vary)and newsletter come as options in a MajorGeeks download , a site I've been using for decades.

Windows Defender is set by default to generate a pop-up with 'allow' and the security suite I use  has a pop up window with the options for how the user wishes to proceed.

    Thanks anyway

  4. I have attempted multiple times to install IoBit Uninstaller 10 latest version of on three systems - two Win 10 latest Build Laptops one PC Windows 10 latest build (OS: 19042.844)

This screenshot shows the ludicrous outcome.

When installing I retain the 'pin to task bar' 'create a desktop' options and skip the bloatware offered.

I have attempted installs with and without security active and have no other software installed that is shown anywhere to conflict with this.

If no one has a successful remedy I'll go with Revo instead
