That is not Controlled Folder Access....that is Windows Security main page.
On that page...click on Virus & Threat Protection....then scroll down to the bottom of that page to...Ransomare Protection....and
click on Manage Ransomware Protection.....that will open Controlled Folder Accesss.
OK I understand. Actually the first message when I type Controlled folder access it says page not available. Your IT adminstrator has limited access to some areas which is strange because I'm the only user and that should be admin level

The only thing that can cause this, is either Norton or Controlled Folder Access.
One of them is removing/blocking the file. Maybe Norton is not fully disabled.
Well I did a right-click on Norton and selected disable auto protect and selected the option to stay like that until rebooted.
Which option on Controlled Folder Access is to view the Block history? That isn't on the main page

I downloaded iObit Uninstaller 11.5 from Majorgeeks. That also displayed the original unins000.msg file missing
Any other ideas?
I did disable Norton before trying

Controlled folder access has green ticks on everything with no action needed.
Also I have looked at Norton but being honest I don't know what to look for.
I can't uninstall DB with Windows Add or Remove programs because it always displayed the unins000.msg missing
I'll look for the uninstalled from the Majorgeeks site

Thanks for your very fast reply. You mention windows controlled folder access. I have never used that, but I assume you use that if you don't have other antivirus software. I'm using Norton'
When I said Driver Booster isn't working I should have said that message says "The code execution cannot proceed bcause madExcept_.bpl was not found. Reinstalling the program may fix this problem.
Same message for rtl120.bpl and madBasic_bpl
What I would like to do is completely uninstall and then reinstall.

Driver Booster isn't working and I can't uninstall. I keep getting a message:
Messages file: C:\Program files (*x86)\Iobit\Driver Booster\9.2.0\unins000.msg Please correct the problem or obtain a new copy of the program.
I tried to uninstall. I also downloaded Driver booster again, but it won't install, so now I don't know what to do.
Any advice will be appreciated.
Thanks

I just wondered if anyone has advice on why Advanced Systemcare crashes every time. I posted the question on 13th July.

Advanced Systemcare keeps crashing when I click on scan. It installed ok and I registered the licence key. Everything looked ok, but when I clicked on the scan button it crashed and it does this every time. I'm not sure what to do now...
Any advice will be appreciated. Thank you

OK finally some progress. I rebooted, disabled Norton and then tried running uninstaller. It did come up with the original message about unins000.msg but then it continued and did uninstall Driver Booster. I really don't understand why these issues happened, but now the issue seems to be resolved.
Thanks again for your quick replies and advice. It really was very much appreciated 🙂
