Security Defense - seems to stop running

Hi,

 

Whenever I run the Security Defense component of ASC, it does not complete and seems to stop running and "hang". The status bar gets to approximately 50%, the analyzing security icon/clock keeps turning but things seem to sit there for hours (I have left it running for five hours with no change and ended up stopping it manually).

 

Any ideas on what might be the cause?

Hi derekp,

 

Please install IObitSecurity 360 and after running, click Passive Defense in Tools section. Click Enable All button.

 

After closing IS360,run ASC again and Scan again, and see ifit works.
