  1. IOBit smart-defrag-setup.exe and iobituninstaller.exe Both of these programs were quarantined as potentially unwanted programs even though they are IOBit installation files. It took me a bit to figure out that the programs were not installed and that they were also deleted from the download location on my computer. Then I had to figure out why. I checked my app list in the taskbar START section. Not there. I checked to see if the programs were in the Program Files and Program Files (x86) directories on my computer. Nope. They were not in the trash bin, and they were not mentioned in any history logs that I could find. It finally occurred to me to check the Malware program. The quarantine list had an option to restore the programs, so I did that. But when I re-ran the installation files, they were again quarantined. It took me a bit to realize that I also had to add them to the allow list. I spent way too much time figuring out how to get the IObit installation files to successfully run after they were quarantined by the IObit Malware program. I would advise that this problem be fixed. It's rather silly for an IObit program to sabotage without notice the installation of other IObit programs. Now if I could only remember why I wanted to use my computer in the first place. 🙄😸
