How to keep Windows 7 Aero Effects on?

Recommended Posts

Hi Karma_Fox, welcome to IObit Forum!

Please fill in the OS + Computer Details section in your User CP including all the security softwares and IObit softwares in detail with the versions.

For example, it is different in GB 3.4 and GB 3.5 Beta.

Cheers.

Thanks for the info Karma_Fox,

Click on Configure link on the GUI, untick Desktop Windows Manager Session Manager and Themes under Unnecessary Services (xx sevices, xx checked) on the opened window, and click Apply button, click Start Boost.

Windows Aero effects will be kept when the Boost is applied.

Cheers.

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but I just made an account on these forums to talk about *exactly* this.

The aforementioned box, for me, *is* unchecked, but still after I did those tweaks, aero turned off. I had to undo all the tweaks to get it back.

I really want this to work, though! I got almost *double* the framerate in Planetside 2 because of this game booster!

Do you have any idea what might be going on, or what I can do different besides uncheck that one box?
