Unable to get scan to work

I use an HTC Valet Z665C using Android 4.1.1 and it installs fine however when I run the scan it just shows hour glass continuously on all lines and will not finish running the scan. Everything else seems to work fine. Any ideas please. Thanks.

In settings is a option (customize settings scan) to scan objects you must select proposed option (either all or ones), otherwise the Advanced Mobile Care 4 will not scan anything.
