I am new to Smart Defrag and am running the latest version on Windows Vista Home Premium. The program runs well right after I install it, but after a reboot, I get this error: "Open volume error!You can try to run the application by administrator account" (see thumbnail).

 

If I reinstall, it works again until I reboot. My account is the only account and has admin rights. Any ideas?

right click on smart defrag>properties>compatibility then check 'run as administrator' or run as XP.

I too, am new to Smart Defrag, and I can't even get it to run once without the Open Volume Error. I installed 1.11 as administrator, checked the Run as Administrator box in properties, and still get the error. Any suggestions?
