Yes, both AWC and spywareblaster use the same means to protect your registry. The same as in Spybot. You may notice sometimes that AWC and spywareblaster conflict after each immunizes your computer, this is because each has its own "recognized" or "recommended" value/registry entry to protect you from certain malware. Basically, whichever one does the immunization, the other thinks that that one did not do it right.

 

Really you should use these two programs together for more protection, since there are some things the other gets to first and that only it protects against (although I don't konw any specifics since there are far too many to check- the definitions for spyware are usually recieved from the same site though)
