the question i wanted to ask if its not any problem i have 2 ghz speed and 991mb of ram i am running windows xp i have a ram optimizer program called mem turbo my question is i am running windows xp sometimes my computer frezzes and the programs do not resond is it becouse of this program bescouse last weekend i erase my whole drive with full earse all data so the computer is like new but it still freazes do you think its this software doing it?

Computer freezing with RAM optimizers

 

Hello. Your problem does not seem to be with the amount of RAM you have. In general, 991MB of RAM is enough for most systems. I think the problem may actually be that you are running many applications at the same time that take up a lot of processing power since you have only 2GHz.

 

You might tell us when this problem is occuring. For the most part though, I don't recommend using a memory optimizer if you have nearly 1GB of RAM for home users.
