Doesn't show locking process

Recommended Posts

I used that software a thousand time successfully (mostly to rename and move ms office files that always stay locked even after closing the file) or to rename containing folder. Recently, I noticed that I can't rename a folder and that IObit unlocker doesn't show any locking process. It says "not locked". I tried forced mode and unlock anyway and it says "unlock successfully" but I still can't rename that folder. I moved out the only file (a PowerPoint file) and it is now empty !

Anybody has a clue what's going on ?

ok, I just found a part of the problem, I am now since recently using a directory junction. For some reasons, IObit unlocker doesn't "detect" the process while going through the junction. It did work fin when I tried from the destination directory. It was stupid PowerPoint locking the file again even if the file is completely closed. I still have other PowerPoint files opened tough.

Before someone suggest me to close them all : that's can't be done. I cannot reboot too every time it happens nor buy a new computer every time.
