Security Defense - never ends

hi there

when I start the scan, it gets as far as the Security Defense item, and appears to be scanning it forever, over an hour and counting

May I kindlly ask why, and can I skip this step?

 

also, when I start the program it disconnects my computer from my dial up ISP

What can I do about that please?

Untill you get an answer from IObit Team, you can disable the Security Defence item by unchecking the checkbox before Scan.

Which version of AWC do you use? on which OS?

I am using version 2.3.0.726, and windowsXP

 

for some unknown reason, when I start the scan it is disconnecting me from my ISP dial up connection - why?
