Newbie for Vista help

Using Vista Ultimate on Dell 9400 E1705...2gb mem dual core, 7200 HDD.

AWC pro hungs up on scanning the registry in normal mode. I then used the registry scanner singly and received the message that the list index is out of bounds.

Any possible solution(s) please?

Are you using it as an Admin.?

Yes it is exactly the same. Yes I have instructed the app to run with admin priviliges via the properties/compatibility tab. Could it be that Vista is protecting itself by denying access to certain parts of the registry?

Do you run RegistryCleaner.exe from inside the main AWC foder?

It is language dependent, you have to put it in that folder and run it from there.

If you are using Vista with UAC off, than there is no restriction when used as an Administrator.
