Suggestion - Chkdsk Function

You are right, but the function just utilizes the Windows chkdsk command in Run which work in the same way.

To see the result you can use the commandprompt with the same command or with one of the switches.

you can check the results in the winlogon in events manager via admin tools in windows xp

 

and similar in vista through its called a similar but its in event viewer.
