Can't register licence

I obtained a 'Cover Disc' from PC Advisor with a copy of Advanced System Care 3 PRO on. I copied and pasted the 'activation code' jnto the relevant box, and was informed that it was an invalid code number,and as you probably know,the 'PRO' version will not fix any problems without being registered first. I have the 'free version' installed om my Vista PC,and I find it is an excellent program,but I would very much like to have the 'extras' in the PRO version. Help?!!:-(
