Greetings!

IO360 appears to be doing sumthun..... which - is a start in the wonderful world of WinWoes.

All in all, it's about = break even. :?

When various scans were run = various problems were found.

I'm running WinWoes XP on a GateWay with a AMD dual processor.

One might expect it to be able to walk and chew bubble gum - don't count on it. :|

I'm running AdvancedSystemCare, IO360, and PCTools Spyware Doctor.

I've got yer firewalls, popup blockers, spyware scrubbers - you name it.

Without opening a browser, I can run any or all of these applications in any order = and, they will each still find sumthun.

This isn't an issue IObit, or PCTools, or any of the other application developers.

It's a WinWoes phenomenon.

There are anomalous lock ups shortly after booting.

Here again, this may not be a IOBit issue.

It could be due the WinWoes inability to multitask.

The more restarts and/or the later one tries to accomplish any thing after a boot (ie after the start up carnage has diminished) = less problems.

I'm going to leave it installed for awhile - or, until I see the OS coughing up blood.

If you have many of these running "real-time"-turn them off.

Use one anti-virus and one anti-spyware in "real-time".

Reduce the amount of programs loading at startup.

Turn off un-needed services.

Remove your "firewalls" and use the built-in one.

Use a secure browser and e-mail client.

Purchase a router.
