Windows Defender finds Behavior:Win32/Persistence.A!ml in IObit Uninstaller 12

I downloaded https://cdn.iobit.com/dl/iobituninstaller.exe and installed it. Moments later Windows Defender detected Behavior:Win32/Persistence.A!ml in C:\Program Files (x86)\IObit\IObit Uninstaller\RegisterCom.dll
Defender made me restart the computer after deleting the offending file. Afterwards IObit Uninstaller complained that files had been damaged. I uninstalled and will go back to an earlier version unless you can point me to a current version that doesn't annoy Defender!
