Malware Fighter in Windows Action Center

I purchased Malwear Fighter as an additional Malware Specific layer of security on top of my current protection, which is Bitdefender Total Security. For obvious reasons, I don't want the BitDefender engine running in Malware Fighter, so I leave it turned off. In order to keep Windows happy, I have also unchecked the option to list Malware Fighter in Windows Action Center, because as long as the Bitdefender Engine is disables, it will throw notifications at me that I need to enable security. After unchecking the setting and restarting, everything is good for a couple of reboots, then I start getting the warnings from the Action Center to enable the Bitdefender Engine. Malware Fighter keeps listing itself, even though the setting explicitly says not to.  How do I fix this?  If it cannot be fixed, I will need to request a refund.
