anyone using a hdmi monitor

just need a bit of advice on new build could not get onboard realtek sound working, but the ati hd4350 graphics card has sound if used with hdmi lead and monitor so switched to hdmi monitor and got sound but not loud.

 

should i now unistall the realtek onboard sound and disable in bios, tried disabling realtek sound in device manager but this did not raise thevolume of the sound output.

 

just a little lost with hdmi and need pointing in right direction to get a decent volume.

 

using vista ultimate 32bit and samsung T240HD monitor
