Two spyware scanners or just one

Alot of people on forums say you should always have two spyware scanners and not just one but i have found that iobit security 360 has a very high detection rate. What do you guys think? should we have two spyware scanners to double our security or just one?

You had better have a anvirus product like AVG or Avira......8-)

Well if they cohabitate peacefully together then 2 is better than one. A second opinion is also a good thing to progress.

i use two "iobit security360 and malwarebytes" whatever one misses the other will pick up.

One *resident spyware scanner is all you should have running. Just like you should only have one antivirus and one firewall running. But using another on-demand scanner like Malwarebytes or SUPERAntiSpyware (or both) as a "second opinion" is always a good idea. No one product is going to stop/detect everything, everytime.

 

I never scan with my installed antivirus. Instead If I think it's needed I'll run an online virus scan from BitDefender or ESET. I figure if something got past my installed security then scanning with it won't do much good.
