Defrag Questions

I am new to the forum and use AWC2 and the defrag both are good.

 

Can the defrag in the next beta be fixed so that users have an option to optimise to most recently accessed programs as in some other defrag programs to speed up the pc or is this already done by default.

 

the auto defrag only appears to come on for about a minute during windows bootup [use xp] does not seem to come on at any other time. [set at default 20% load any one able to enlighten any more on this point please.

Yes, SmartDefrag will automatically optimize your files for quick access of the most frequently used files (such as prefetch)

 

As for Auto defrag- I believe there are other users reporting similar or the same issues on the smartdefrag board. However, this is not an issue as ISD will start with Windows (if set to do so) and then will cease activity until fragmentation levels get to a certain level. You can check the program's Auto Defrag monitor to see if any activity is occuring at all. Otherwise, submit this to the smartdefrag board as an issue
