cant wait till they test the newest version of Online Armor. It seems that they only test certain products at a time.

although i wouldnt recommend comodo even though they have a 100 percent score. They have been caught selling their SSL certificates to known malware and rogue programs sites.

IcyFrostPyro- My deepest apologies that Comodo's 100% score has been diminished in your eyes by a completely unrelated and trumped up scandal that was blown all out of proportion by people who know that honest and upstanding people like yourself will react strongly to negative publicity even if they only told a small fraction of the truth.

I have read much of the same information as you have probably read and what they purposely leave out is that there are 3 different levels of SSL Certification...

1) Domain validation SSL Certificates: where the Certification Authority checks the right of the applicant to use a specific domain name

2) Organization validation SSL Certificates: where the Certification Authority checks the right of the applicant to use a specific domain name PLUS it conducts some vetting of the organization

3) Extended Validation SSL Certificates: where the Certification Authority checks the right of the applicant to use a specific domain name PLUS it conducts a THOROUGH vetting of the organization.

This controversy was over DV Certificates that were being sold not by Comodo, but by a reseller which was simply checking the right of the applicants to use a specific domain name as is required where there is no vetting as in the other more expensive Certs. By far the biggest offenders in selling DV Certs to cites that are eventually used by malware are Verisign who first popularized the very inexpensive low security DV Cert classification and Godaddy who have each wrongly issued 1,000's of these DV Certs and yet no one goes after them which severely compromises the integrity of those who are going after Comodo who is the smallest pea in the pod and yet they have no other recourse than a desperate attempt at character assassination because they certainly can't make a technical argument against the sublime protection that Comodo Internet Security offers and it is much simpler and less expensive than trying to come up with technology that can top Comodo if they ever could that is.
