ASC Hangs

I am using ASC Pro v 3.3.4. when the auto scanning begins the Spyware removal reaches here = dave@wd.sharethis[3].txt & will not proceed. This has happened previously & I uninstalled then reinstalled & the problem disappeared. Unfortunately the issue has returned. Any suggestions.

Please try the new version ASC 3.4, and see if it is the same.

ASC Hangs

 

Hi Enoskype

 

I have tried 3.4 but that is giving me another issue, I cannot get any updates, I am getting a message that cannot connect to server which maybe due to a firewall preventing the updater to logon. I am using PC Tools Firewall & the updater is in the allowed connection list. I have now gone back to 3.3.4 & that is working fine for the moment.

 

Any advice would be appreciated.

You can update to version 3.4, as the database file of it, is the most recent one.

 

Please read the discussion in the ASC 3.4 thread in the Lounge section for the bug when used for Windows7.

 

Same situation here, we will wait for IObit to solve it.

 

The update problem is not because of you, but intentional for the weird downdate problem, I think. :lol:

i have ASC 3.4 hanging during scan in system optimisation never had this before. only got it in vista not xp.
