quicken 2005

I am a ASC pro 3.3.4 using Quicken 2005 and it works fine for what I use it for. Thing is I get this Critical Notice each time I go to it telling me I have an old version do I want to upgrade? No.

Is there some way I can block Quicken 2005 connecting to internet with ASC or IObit?

Do you have anything concerning Quicken 2005 in your startup items?

 

If yes, try disabling it with ASC or IS360 using the tools for startup.

 

If the answer is no, then you can do that with a firewall software.

I looked into what you suggested.

My Quicken 2005 was not in my start menu, I use it only about twice a month.

 

I did go to windows firewall and added qw.exe to block list and went back to open Q2005 and guess what? No critical notice warning. Very good.
