Problem updating

Hi.

Since the new release I am having problems with updating. Every time I log on 360 will report that it has updated the database but if I do a manual check for updates the same update will appear as available for download. I click on install but when I check the log the update has always failed.

Has anyone got any ideas ? Suggestions re a solution would be great.

Yes alex30, it seems that updating to def version 1279 have problems as you described.

 

Which Def.dbd version is on your IS360?

Hi Enoskype,

I am sorry but I don;t know how to check which def update I have. I do know it was on 8/11/09 and since I installed the new version of 360 updates are not working.

Perhaps you can tell me how to find the info on the def update.

OK alex30,

 

Download the attached zip file and extract Addition.dbd in it to the folder:

 

C:\Program Files\IObit\IObit Security 360

 

Your Addition.dbd will be overwritten.

 

Your definition version will be 1278 which is the last one I have.

When you click the Scan button of IS360 on the left, you can see it down the bottom of the GUI.

That has gone in.

Are you having the same trouble and are IOBit aware ?

I still have the executable from the old version and wonder if it would be a good idea to reinstall it until the issue is resolved.

I would rather use the new one, and I do too.

 

Update is problem at the time of now, waiting for new Addition.dbd to be available from update.

 

Most probably it will be available soon, as the morning has come where IObit is. :lol:
