dvd authoring

Gaming mode works fine for me on my old {like me} pc. What I would like to know

1. Can I still use software like cyberlink power director or nero to author, edit and write a dvd in gaming mode?

2. If it can increase gaming speed will it also increase editing speed ?

Would be nice if it does..Im still using a old pc with single cpu and it takes up to 2 1/2 hours to write a dvd so any increase in speed will be welcome.

1)Yes youcan use those softwares unless you tick them to be stopped.

 

2)I don't think it will increase editing speed, unless a program sharing a high amount of CPU and RAM, is stopped by ticking that specific program tobe stopped by Game Booster.
