Huge number of alleged threats

I was impressed with Iobit until I ran my first full scan. It came up with a huge number of threats, including an entire program (every file and entry for Max Registry Cleaner which I have used for two years without problem, and which no other av or anti-malware program has identified as a threat). Obviously I didn't delete everything Iobit reported in its scan result, but has anyone else encountered this problam with Iobit? How did you resolve it? Thanks. Ian

Max Registry Cleaner is Scamware

Its just pretending to clean registries

It does actually not do anything

They scam people to get money

Thanks for the comments. I've now uninstalled Max Registry Cleaner. As I said, I've never had any problems with the program but if it isn't actually cleaning anything then as you say it's a rip off. I wonder why my other anti-malware programs (Adware and Malwarebytes) didn't pick it up, though?

Those kind of programs are called RogueWare, and not all of the security software are designed to detect them.
