Scheduled Defrag

Recommended Posts

I am now running Smart Defrag 1.40 on a schedule and so far the only problem I have is that it doesn't shut down until I go to the tray and click exit. I'm using Win 7 Home Prem. I have it scheduled to Fast Optimize on Wed. and Sun. night at 10 PM. After it ran tonight I went to the Windows Task Scheduler and checked the history on the Task and it had triggered and ran but it had yet to complete. I clicked exit in the tray and then the task completed. Now I noticed in the Smart Defrag Report the scheduled task had ran and finished and by the way I'm not sure if it just defragged or if it fast optimized as I had set it for because the way the report looked to me it had just defragged by the way the report was worded. Is there a way to get Smart Defrag to shut itself down after it has completed it's task without shutting the whole computer down? I can't seem to find any settings to do that, so please set me in the right direction if you would. It continues to run in the tray after it completes it's task.
