Are there any known issues with the usage of the system care causing any registry or other changes which would then cause the windows search companion to not work? It worked just fine before I began using this software and now it does not so at this point I am assuming that the advanced system care has removed something vital for this program to run.

Please check if your search indexing service is disabled.

 

I would suggest to read USAGE of IOBIT PRODUCTS thread to see how to put the items to Ignore List manually if ASC offers to disable a function in Repairing to increase the performance of the PC.
