Anyone Having Non-Responsive SD?

Recommended Posts

I have had problems with SD for months. It goes into a 'non-responsive mode' after being loaded up. I did many complete removals and re-installs. I did my last install a few days and it worked fine for a few days. As of late it just sets there.

Perhaps others might give me a clue what is going on.

Thank you.

SD becomming non responsive.

when I open the SD task icon it opens up the program but all the interface icons become non responsive. Only way to exit the task bar icon and relaunch SD. Also used Bitremover tool and reinstalled.

I have the exact same problem on two machines:

-Desktop, Win7 Pro 64-bit

-Laptop, Win7 Home Prem, 32-bit

Both are clean installs (SD and the entire OS), only a few months old.

After a few days, SD quits working: it ceases to auto-defrag (as indicated by SD's tooltip and verified by another defragmenter) and the interface is non-responsive (with the first indicator being the "Defrag Only/Fast Optimize/Deep Optimize" drop-down box being blank and unchangable).
