Deep registry scan

I am presently using Advanced System Care Free. I have just downloaded the Iobit Tool Box which has a great Interface. When I ran registry cleaner it did a thorough scan but showed nearly 537 registry errors on a basically very clean computer. I am very wary of these deep registry cleaners. I ran the same scan on Advanced System Care and it showed only 10 errors.

 

Can someone please help and maybe explain?

I too had this on a smaller scale, I ran ASC in deep reg scan and it cleaned up a few entries then immediatly ran toolbox for the first time it found a further 50 or so entries, but these were cleaned with out problem.

 

i would back the registry first using ERUNT to be safe and create a system restore point first.

2 reasons:

 

a) You are using ASC FREE while Deep Scan is for ASC PRO only;

 

b) The registry cleaner tool in IObit Toolbox Beta1 is a whole-new model and still in beta testing. Be careful ;)

Actually I can confirm the difference in ASC 7.1 Pro to ITB 1.0. ITB finds more stuff when scanned at the same time. Deep Scan is enabled on ASC too.

Is there ever a guarantee to a 100% safe registry cleaner?

 

Just want to say, im not often impressed by software but ASC impressed me, and this just shadows that :-P

 

toolbox is just an amazing piece of software, thank you very much.
