Laptop 'freezes' when using Disk Cleaner

Hi, when using the 'Disk Cleaner' app. in 'Utilities', my laptop often freezes up completely after the scan, when I click on the 'Finish' button.

I have to do an emergency shut down by pressing the laptop Power button for a few seconds. Any ideas how I can fix this problem please?.

I like the Advanced System Care application, but will have to stop using it if I can't fix this.

I'm using the latest version of ASC, and Windows Vista.

I am using version 3.6.1 of Advanced System Care, and Windows Vista.

The problem occurs when I use Disk Cleaner.

When I click 'Finish', my laptop sometimes freezes solid, and I have to do an emergency shutdown by pressing the Start button.

It doesn't happen every time I use Disk Cleaner, but about half the time.

Have you tried a clean install? (concept described in Usage of IObit Products )

You should use a software cleaner that is fit in your laptop!

But I think better to use the software that is being offered by this forum site :wink:
