SmartDefrag 4.02 beta

SmartDefrag 4.02 beta has been auto-defragging my C drive for four days solid now. The programme is presently stalled after 2% analysis of an external hard drive .. The programme has done nothing useful for me here since overwriting one of the late version 3's. There is clearly a problem because the bugreport file is 110k :x

I run the defrag and it gets to 44% and goes no further....What's up with that?

have you tried in safemode or closing all running programs first. A background program may be causing defrag to stop when it hits the files of the offending program.
