ASC 'Auto' Clean Doesn't Work (W7-64bit)

Advanced Systemcare 3.7.3.doesn't clean automatically on Windows 7 64bit. Only the 'scheduled' clean works. The 'auto' clean works fine on Xp but not on Windows 7 ?????

ASC Pro not auto running on Win 7 64 bit.

 

I've found the same problem. Although ASC Pro opens when "scheduled" I'm not convinced it does the full scan and clean. It worked great on my old XP but not on my brand new Win 7 64 bit. I tried the paid support but they said to run it as an administrator - which you can only do manually! Somethings amiss as I'm reduced to running ASC manually - so I would be better off with the free download. Nick

I hope it is the same in Windows 7 (x64) as Windows 7 (32).

Did you try the folowing:

Right click on AWC.exe and after clicking properties, choose Compatibility tab and choose the Privilage Level ticking "Run this program as Administrator". Click Apply and OK.

 

After that, AWC.exe will run with Administrator privilages.

 

I would also try to use the same method for other EXE files including AutoCare.exe and AutoSweep.exe files in Advanced Systemcare folder.

I've changed the properties on the three files and clicked on Run as Administrator. But ASC Pro still does not run automatically with Windows 7 64 bit. Any more suggestions please. Nick
