Uninstall problems

I tried upgrading to a newer version of AWC but the older version will not uninstall during the upgrade and I get an error message. When I try to uninstall the older version through the Control Panel I get the same error message as follows:

 

The uninstall log file "C\programfiles\iobit\advancedwindowscarev2\unins000.dat is in a format not recognized by this version of the uninstaller.

 

What does this mean ? can anyone help?
