Lastest Ver & Difference with Disk Defrag of Advanced SystemCare

1. is the latest version 2 beta 2.0? NOT Beta 4.02, which was the version 1's beta?

2. what's the difference between SD2 & Advanced SystemCare's Disk Defragment? is the latter for the system drive © only?

If so, is there a need to install SD2, if I only have 1 C drive?

Hi wardlai,

1. The latest is Smart Defrag 2 Beta2.0.

2. The algorithms are the same, but defragmenter in ASC is not a match to Smart defrag 2 Beta2.0. There are a lot more options in SD2 and it is much more versatile with exclusion of files, boot-time defrag, auto defrag, etc..

You can find many threads in this section for the comparison of stand alone defrag of IObit and embedded defrag in ASC.

Cheers.

Thx for your reply!

1. when I tried to search using the top right hand Google custom search, it is NOT custom but general Google search, though 'IObit Virtual Support' was selected.

2. so is it ok to use the stand alone SD & the embedded in ASC together?
