Game Booster lowers framerate

Ok. First of all I love Gamebooster. I use it whenever I'm about to play a game, but recently I've noticed that it drops my framerate on my laptop, making gameplay a bit more tedious.

 

I'm using GameBooster v2.2 Premium, on Win7 Ultimate, using Mobile Intel® 945 Express Chipset family as videocard (256mb).

 

Without Gamebooster I get a framerate of 26-30fps but with GB i only manage to get 18-20.

 

Why does using Gamebooster lower my videocard's (or chipset in this case) ability to work?

May be you are using the gaming mode power plan try switching that off

Why not use 2.3?
