Will Not Scan

I just downloaded AWC and it seems to have Dl correectly. The computer details box says unkown and what I go to Scan, nothing happens.

 

Did I do something wrong? Can some Help fix the problem?

Please give more info:

 

-Which OS?

-Which version of AWC?

-Size of setup file?

-Is it your first time installing AWC?

-Which Antivirus software?

-Do you have system guard protection?

-Are you using with Admin rights or guest?

-etc.?

I hope that this answers the basic questions you put forth.

 

Operating system - Windows 98

Antivirus - McAfee

AWC Version - AWC V2 personal Version 2.01

First time Installation

 

I can't answer the rest of the questions without a little more guidance as to where to look.

Unfortunately, you can not use AWC with Windows 98.

AWC is designed for 32-bit Windows XP, 2000 and Vista™ Operating Systems. (WinXP, Windows2000, Windows Vista Starter, Windows Vista Home Basic, Windows Vista Home Premium, Windows Vista Business, Windows Vista Enterprise, Windows Vista Ultimate, Windows Vista Home Basic x64, Windows Vista Home Premium x64)

 

If you upgrade to one of the obove OS, you have to turn off "system guard protection" temporarily in McAfee to use AWC.

 

AWC version 2.01 is an old product, if you have a chance to use AWC, please use the most recent one.

As of today it is AWC version 2.71.
