What is the difference between the "Scan Now" button on the overview page, and any of the other buttons on the "System Scan" page. Is the "Scan Now" just a more easily accessible option of one of the other buttons, or is this actually a fourth type of scan, different from "Smart Scan", "Full Scan", and "Custom Scan"?

Hi murray, welcome to the forum.

 

Scan Now button is same as Smart Scan for the convenience of easy and quick access by the user.

 

In fact there will be another option of Scan Now on top of Show Details link after Check is finished and it is the same as the other Scan Now button.
