No BackgroundPrograms Found

Recommended Posts

Hello,

I could never use GameBooster: he finds no "BackgroundPrograms" and can not close them.

He sees the services, but hangs when I check WMI Performance Adapter. These settings are probably conditioned by my registry or libraries of routines or drivers (dll, ocx, sys), but which ones? I reinstalled after several "clean" uninstalling , but nothing changes ...

I already asked but received no response. I am running XP SP3 with Avast and Zonealarm, the free version 1.6 of GB (version 2 does not change, apart from pubs and more). What can I do?

Thank you

Hi sherlock,

I have read all of your posts and replies to them including mine.

You have not given feedback after your last post to the other User and Administrator, so most probably it was understood as the problem was solved.

Now, you are using a version which is not supported any more and even the current version 2 with recent version 2.3 is on it's way to discontinue.

IObit is going to release the new version GB 3 soon.

My advice would be clean uninstall and reinstall of GB 2.3 until the new version 3 is released.

I know that you have tried uninstalling with Revo, so try IObit Uninstaller this time and go to the all possible locations that IObit Game Booster folders are present. Make a search for GameBoste.ini after showing hidden files and delete all you can find with all the GB parent folders.

Install GB 2.3 when your Zone Alarm firewall and AVG A/V is disabled. You have to have full administrator rights also.

That way, you may have response from user helpers in the forum if you have problems again.

Please, also give screenshots of the problems if you have one for GB 2.3.

Cheers.

Bonjour

After uninstalling with the uninstaller GameBooster, research has given no ocurence GB or GameBoste.ini. I downloaded version 2.3, disabled ZA and Avast and intalled GB2.3. It still does not detect the application on background! (they are well detected by many other utilities).

What's going on?

That's weird!!!

ASC4's turbo Boost sees them and GB 2.3 doesn't.

Can you give tour hardware details? So IObit may investigate it.

I will convey the problem to IObit after getting the details for the hardware.

Cheers.
