TURBO:Any Proof it works?

Is their software that has tested if TURBO really does boost performance as opposed to it being turned off in ACS4??

It is easy to check the #of processes and services running and also the free RAM before and after Turbo Boost function is ON.

 

The result will certainly give a clue about the available resources before and just after.

 

Since more resources mean better performance when you decide to run a program, you can give the answer to us analyzing the response time. :lol:

Do you know a good benchmark software program to test with??

Task Manager will show you the number of processes running. Access it with the three finger salute. Smart Ram will show you how much memory is available.

 

I occasionally use Turbo Boost when necessary. It helps out Magic Jack with voice communication and Thunderbird with sending large emails. Tonight it made ftp of a 6mb file possible when time outs ruined a previous attempt.
