I think SD's SSD detection algo need some refinement.

 

My reason is, even though it does detect the usual SSD devices (USB, SATA ect) it fails to do so for devices directly on the PCIe bus.

 

Case in point: SD fails to detect OCZ's P88 R2 drive (which to the OS it looks like 'LSI Adapter, SAS 300 series') while it has no problems with SSDs on Areca.
