When I click on the Spiral Knights icon (it doesn't matter if it is from GB or Desktop) GB will boost and then return to normal mode moments later, disrupting my game several times to reload programs (mainly iTunes and Open Office which neither may have been previously booted).

 

After several moments fighting to get back to SK, I have no problems playing even when I quit the game.

 

Is there a way to keep GB on and not return to normal mode until I'm finished playing? Or can I set Spiral Knights as an exception, keeping it from trying to boost so I don't have to fight with GB?
