I have just started to use the delay option in the Startup Manager. Is there a write-up anywhere on how this feature works? I have noticed that it does get the machine up and running more quickly but I would like to know what mechanism is used to startup the delayed items.

 

It seemed to me that it was not until I invoked one of the delayed applications (Download Accelerator Plus) about five minutes after restarting that the other delayed apps also started.
