My Memory

My memory is always in the 500 or 600 even if I exit my security software and other programs I have 1gb, is there anyway I can make my memory be at 700 or 800 even 900 mb? I even optimized my comp.

Go to start, then run, type in MSCONFIG go to the startup tabs, and disable all the unnecessary stuff that you dont need. I also suggest removing the unneeded services as well...if you need more help let me know.

helped a little bit, but my memory still is always around 500 mb and 600mb hasn't reached 700mb or more yet, i'm on vista and i have 1gb.

that might just be the problem, your using vista lol. Vista is kinda a resource hog. Cutting on services and start up's should have a big impact. if that doesn't work...then i think you should put the services that you haven't disabled (that ones that are enabled and you dont automatically use them) on manual, so when you do decide to launch the app it'll automaticall start it.
