To whom it may concern,

 

I have the feree version and am considering the upgrade but when I run the scan on the free version everything seems to run properly except the disk scan...it gets stuck and never completes the scan...can I redownload it...is there any issues I should know about?...let me know

Unfortunately there is not enough information in your Public Profile about your PC hardware, security softwares you are using and the type of the Windows7 OS. Are you using your PC as an Administrator?

 

I understand running Disk Doctor when you say " everything seems to run properly except the disk scan...". Am I right?

 

Reading the relevant threads/posts in the forum, one can get a lot of information about a problem, fx, if your problem is in Disk Doctor, it has been discussed many times.

 

A screenshot at the time PC stucks will also be very helpful.

 

In the mean time, run chkdsk /F in command prompt and restart your PC.

Please note by reading if any errors are found during the checkdisk process in the beginning of the restart.
